Tammi E. Bach
Ms. Bach received her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in 1999 and her Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with high honors, from the University of Florida in 1995.
As a law student, Ms. Bach was a research assistant to Professor William Eleazer and assisted in the completion of Professor Eleazer’s Florida Evidence Courtroom Manual, 1998. She also served as a judicial intern for United States Magistrate Judge, Thomas B. McCoun III of the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division.
Prior to joining Carey & Leisure, Ms. Bach served as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Largo from 2000-2006. She also served the City of Largo as Board Attorney for the Planning and Zoning Board, Risk Management Committee, Employee Relations and Diversity Committee and the Code Enforcement Board.
From 1999-2000 Ms. Bach served as a guardian ad litem in the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Polk County representing neglected and abused children. She investigated claims of abuse and neglect and monitored foster homes. More recently, Ms Bach has become actively involved in the Children’s Burn Foundation of Florida.
Ms. Bach practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, insurance, land use and redevelopment, zoning, annexation, eminent domain, government liability, public contracting and quasi-judicial hearings before local government bodies and agencies. She is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in City, County and Local Government Law.
